1. How can I change the zoning of my property?

Zone changes require Planning Board review and the approval of the City Council. Call or stop by City Hall and fill out a Zone change request form. This procedure could take up to 60 days to complete.

First, determine the zoning district your property is located in by checking the City's zoning map or calling City Hall at (903) 785-6581.

Next, look up the permitted uses for your zoning district. If your use is not listed in the permitted use section, check the specific use section to determine if your use requires a Specific Use Permit (SUP).

For a copy of an accident report, please contact the Reno Police Department at 903-785-1744 or come by the Reno Police Department at 160 Blackburn Street between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There is a $6.00 administration fee.

No, however, the Reno Police Department will assist you in obtaining the services necessary, such as certified locksmith, to unlock your vehicle.

Contact the Public Works Department at (903) 785-6581 to establish new utility service. The consumer will need to submit an application with a copy of your drivers license and pay a $75.00 deposit and a $25.00 non-refundable service fee.

2. What is the cost to transfer services from one residence to another in Reno?

If you have an existing deposit you will only be charged a $25.00 Service Charge. If you do not have an existing deposit you will be charged $75.00 for Deposit and $25.00 Service Charge.
