Amanda Willows has lived in Reno since 2008 and has served on Reno City Council since 2014. She is Criminal Justice Professor at Texas A&M University-Commerce, is married to Dave Willows, has two sons and three grandchildren. Amanda served the citizens of Reno as a police officer from 2007 to 2010, and is excited to be serving the citizens again as a Reno City Council member and as a member of the Reno Crime Control Board, the Reno Parks and Trail Committee, and the Reno Cemetery Committee. Amanda has a Master of Science degree in Criminology, a Master of Security Studies degree, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction degree, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
