May 6, 2023 General Election: 

The purpose of this General Election is to fill ONE (1) Mayor Seat TWO (2) At Large Council Seats.

Candidate Packets and Applications for a Place on the Ballot may be picked up from the City Secretary’s Office starting January 17, 2023. The City Secretary’s Office is located in Reno City Hall at 160 Blackburn Street, Reno, Texas 75462. 

 

First Day to File as a candidate is Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Last Day to File as a candidate is Friday, February 17, 2023 by 5:00 P.M.

Voter Registration Instructions

To register to vote or change your existing information please complete a Voter Registration Application. When completing the application please follow the following instructions:

  • Complete the application in full either online or print
  • Verify all information on application is correct
  • Sign the application when completed
  • Mail the completed, signed application to:

Polling Location and Time for City of Reno Elections: 

  • Reno City Hall Council Chambers
  • 160 Blackburn Street Reno, TX 75462
  • 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Saturday May 7, 2022

Early Voting by personal appearance will be conducted each weekday at:

  • Reno City Hall Main Office
  • 160 Blackburn Street Reno, TX 75462
  • Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning on April  24, 2023 and ending May 2, 2023.
